Launch of the 2nd edition of the Faroverde Program 2025

The Foundation for the Children of Ecuador (FEÉ) is pleased to announce the launch of the second edition of the Faroverde funding program for the year 2025. This program, aligned with the Foundation’s mission to support local initiatives in Ecuador, aims to strengthen the autonomy of female heads of household and improve the education and health of children in Ecuadorian communities.

A second year towards empowerment and education

Since its creation, the Faroverde program has become a strategic pillar for FEÉ. It is designed to support projects that provide concrete solutions to the challenges faced by women and children in Ecuador. Through the active involvement of local stakeholders, Faroverde creates a lasting impact in communities, contributing to enhancing the security and economic independence of women while promoting educational and development opportunities for children.

Faroverde 2025 objectives

The 2025 edition of the Faroverde program will focus on the following objectives:

  1. Strengthening Women’s Autonomy: Supporting projects aimed at preventing domestic and gender-based violence, improving women’s security, and promoting their economic independence, as well as that of their children.
  2. Improving Children’s Education: Supporting cultural, sports, and educational initiatives that promote their physical and psychological development while strengthening the social and community fabric.
  3. Consolidating Local Partnerships: Strengthening collaboration with already supported organizations, such as Fundación Nosotras con Equidad, Fundación María Guare, and Fundación Pueblito La Ternura, to ensure the sustainability of initiatives.

An opportunity for local organizations

The Faroverde 2025 program is open to non-profit organizations working in the fields of women’s empowerment, education, and health. FEÉ invites local organizations to submit their projects for funding to amplify their impact in communities. Selected projects must align with the program’s objectives and be designed to create a sustainable impact directly related to the challenges faced by the targeted communities. Each funded project will benefit from strategic support and increased visibility through FEÉ’s communication channels.

A collective commitment

The Foundation for the Children of Ecuador, in collaboration with partners and local organizations, continues to play a key role in improving the living conditions of women and children in Ecuador. The Faroverde program is a prime example of the Foundation’s commitment to making a tangible difference, transforming lives, and creating future opportunities for those in greatest need.
