In the summer of 2019, the partnership with the CSI materialized with the sending of two professionals to Pascuales, for a planned period of six months, with two mandates: one in communication and the other in support of the activities of the women’s center.
This intervention of the two volunteers over a longer period of time, has made it possible to strengthen local skills, with on the one hand the expansion of our network of partners (in particular thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil), but also to offer the Women’s Center new workshops more relevant and adapted to the needs of young mothers.
However, the mission had to be cut short because of the October 2019 uprisings that are now part of the country’s history. The partnership with the ISC remains active, and future missions will be organized.
