It is with tears in our eyes that we announce the departure of the director of the FEÉ, Mr. André Michelet, on September 1, 2022.
After more than 5 years at the FEÉ, André is leaving us to take on new challenges. André’s dedication to the foundation was very felt: the cause of single mothers was really important to him. Among his many accomplishments, the modernization of the facilities of the women’s center in Pascuales, various grant applications, fundraising campaigns, the very ambitious Faroverde project, the modernization of the FEÉ WEB site which has allowed us to have a beautiful international visibility in three languages and now allows us to make donations online and instantly receive tax receipts.
We wish Mr. André Michelet the best of luck in his new challenges and sincerely thank him for his dedication to the FEÉ.
With this departure comes a wind of renewal for the Foundation for the Children of Ecuador.It is with great pleasure that we welcome a new director to our team: Ms. Farah Minihadji.
Based in Quebec for 4 years after studying in France and Belgium, Farah holds a master’s degree in business administration. After having recently completed a contract with Vues d’Afrique, she comes to us with 4 years of experience in project management, including 2 years in project financing. Also with great skills in communication, strategy and organization of activities. She is familiar with the FEÉ since she completed a several-week internship in Pascuales in 2018. Her work focused on communication for Fundacion Rosalia, including organizing a photo exhibition at our center for women in Pascuales.
With her youth and her attachment to the cause of women heads of families in Ecuador, she will be able to give new impetus to our organization.
We are all looking forward to working with our new director who starts on September 1, 2022.
