In the night between June 18 and 19, a great soul and a very important woman for the Foundation has passed away. Sister Jeannine Vallières, one of the four Sisters of Misericordia who have founded the Pascuales mission, sadly passed away after having courageously faced cancer for many months.
We salute her strength, her resiliency and her optimist, and we express our deepest condolences to her family and to her second family, the Sisters of Misericordia, who lose an inspiring and strong-willed woman. With her caring advices and self-sacrifice, Sister Jeannine has indeed supporter a great number of women, here in Montréal and abroad. She will continue to serve as inspiration through the Foundation, but also through the Jeannine Vallières Award, launched in 2017.
