While the Ecuadorian management team was in Montreal, we were fortunate enough to go to the Fondation Marcelle et Jean Coutu, who is the first financial donor of the FEÉ with a donation of 75 000 USD.
And it was by Marie-Josée Coutu in person that we were welcomed for the first time with members of the Ecuadorian team – namely Rafael Gonzales (former president of the Foundation in Ecuador) and Jacinto Rojas Alvarez Of the board in Ecuador), as well as the president and the director of the FEE Yves and André.
It was an opportunity for very rich exchanges on the effectiveness of the assistance provided by the EEF to single mothers and their children in Ecuador. Marie-Josée Coutu came out very pleased with the professionalism of the services offered at the nursery and the women’s center and renewed our support.
For the Ecuador team, it was a new awareness of the international solidarity that supports them and an unsuspected source of motivation that strengthens the whole community.
