Atelier de prévention bucco-dentaire à Pascuales

Felipe Abad est un ancien bénéficiaire de notre programme de parrainage et il est aujourd’hui en dernière année d’odontologie.

Le futur dentiste a offert un atelier de prévention des problèmes de santé bucco-dentaire à plus de 50 enfants et parents à la Fundación de Asistencia Social Misión Rosalía Cadron, à Pascuales.

Alors que seuls 55% des habitants de la région de Guayaquil ont accès à une assurance de santé et qu’une consultation en Équateur s’élève à environ 60$ (le salaire moyen est de 433$), la prévention constitue un premier pas incontournable pour la saine dentition des enfants.

Cette séance a en outre permis aux mères de partager avec les autres familles de la communauté. D’autres ateliers seront attendus prochainement pour le meilleur des enfants et de leur mère notamment!
